Happy 2019! My journey of helping others regain quality of life and financial freedom continues. 01/08/2019 was my 1st 4 figure day in 2019 of residual income. I was paid 43 times today and will be paid on the 8th EVERY month. What could you do with an extra $5700 every month? If you would like more info, text “2019” to (224) 293-0021.

"Comparison is the thief of joy."   Theodore Roosevelt Although many of us think of joy as an emotion it is not. It is actually a state of being and it is also who our True Self is. A lack of present joy, by the Law of Paradoxical Intent, actually pushes our Good (whatever we are working on manifesting) further into the future - just as trying to grab a beach ball on water at the beach results in it moving further and further away from reach. When we compare ourselves with others, we are playing into our own egos and robbing ourselves of joy. Comparing ourselves with others always plays to our ego - because it encourages us to see ourselves as "less than" or "better than" the other. Either way we suffer (an unattractive energy) and, also, as lightworkers know we are all ONE. The success or suffering of anyone is also the success or suffering of us all. In spiritual truth we are all One and in spiritual truth we are perfect. Don't give your power away to competing or comparing yourself to others. Always do your best, give your best and present your best to experience the best in your life. Let good enough be good enough for you. Striving for perfection only leads to disappointment. Giving your best in everything that you do is good for the Law of Attraction, because when we give our best we expect the best in return - and as you know - we always receive what we expect. That is why we say that if we wish to be our own best psychic we look at our expectations! Striving for perfections sends out an unattractive energy. I looked up the dictionary definition of striving and it says, "to exert oneself vigorously." To me, that is synonymous with struggle and assumes that whatever we are manifesting is going to be difficult and really hard to accomplish if at all possible. That is one of the reasons that I no longer strive for perfection (bucking the entire North American ethos) but rather continue to ask for the best from myself in everything that I do while simultaneously becoming more 'whole' which is also the goal of Jungian therapy. I substituted a quest for perfection with a quest for wholeness. As wholeness is also the goal of classical Hatha Yoga, and I am a Yoga teacher - I have found that letting go of the North American paradigm of comparison and competition is not only the Yoga path but is also consistent with the Law of Attraction as a major Law of the Universe. I think that many of us, if we are striving for perfection, can become paralyzed and then we do not take the risks that we are guided to take in order to manifest our dreams. To be successful at manifesting we are required to take both physical and emotional risks. I am not talking about life-threatening risks here. I am talking about the woman/man who opens her/his heart to love again after extreme disappointment. Or, the writer who continually risks rejection and the loss of time and money and energy in order to be published, or the business person who risks money and time to create something new that serves the public, or the artist who goes ahead with a showing risking humiliation and public disapproval of their work and vision. Playing it safe in life doesn't get you very far with regard to your dreams. In truth, it is we who are the blocks to manifesting our dreams, because almost all the blocks we face come from our own fears and we place these projections into the future when we constantly focus on what could happen. We usually meet our future worries upon our path. We Earth Angels are not very competitive because we want everyone to win and we want equal happiness for everyone. We know that life is meant to be a win-win condition. We see around us in the world that those who do not feel the same as lightworkers often descend into harsh energies and violence which can result from the full-on competitive energy. I like what Yoga teacher, Bryan Kest has to say about his style of teaching. "I come from a highly competitive background. That's why I teach what I teach. We're all so competitive. We love to compete, but competition hinders our practice. Then we get judgmental and critical about ourselves. I try to empower people to let them know that they are already perfect. Yoga teaches that you are already enlightened. You've just got to wake up and realize it. The goal of yoga is chit vrtti nirodhah - the cessation of the fluctuations of the mind. It's quieting your mind down, not sticking your leg further behind your head. Let's use our bodies as tools to challenge our mind." Bryan's philosophy matches my own style of yoga teaching. The healthiest person is not usually the person who can go further into an asana (pose) but rather the person whose mind is so quiet that she can hear what her body is saying to her - because - the first step to healing is awareness. Of course, the goal and meaning of Yoga is union. Union of body, mind and spirit. Wholeness. It is not wise to compare ourselves to others. It steals our joy. Like snowflakes, our Creator fashioned each of us to be unique. By doing our very best every day in everything we do and letting go of old habits, patterns, and belief in struggle and suffering we allow everything into our life that is for our Highest Good, by employing the Law of Attraction rather than pressing with our minds and bodies to be someone we are not. "When attention is perfect, it creates order and clarity out of chaos and confusion." Dr. Deepak Chopra "A mind that is stretched by new experience can never go back to its old dimensions." Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr. The quality of our attention to our lives ultimately determines what we experience. The opposite of quality of attention is those times when we are on automatic pilot. Not living in the moment but rather behaving like a programmed robot. If our attention always remains on our human wholeness we are whole or holy; however, when we are multi-tasking (which some neuroscientists today say is actually humanly impossible - that we are only fooling ourselves) our attention is fragmented which means we are fragmented. Fragmented is not magical. Attention is magical and magnetic. When we stop playing roles and eschew our habitual behaviours we transcend 'ordinary reality' through the power of attention and the wizard within. The power of attention opens the doorway into uncertainty - which initially terrifies the ego - but where pure awareness resides. This is difficult for the ego-personality to accept; however, it is the portal into the wizard's world. "God made this world," Merlin said. "So it must be interesting enough to keep his attention. If you find things growing tired or stale or predictable, perhaps it is you who have lost the capacity to be interested." (The Way of the Wizard) The wizard within knows that everything we are certain of - when our attention and awareness is brought to it - reveals new qualities previously undiscovered. Certainty is loved by the ego which feels safest with boundaries. Attention and awareness can take us way beyond all boundaries and into the realm of the wizard. When I am in the realm of the wizard I experience that we are not limited by time or space. Our spirit is non-local and unlimited. Boundless. All the work that I do at Awakening Spirit comes from this place beyond time. It is from there that I receive messages from the Angels, ascended masters, and the various Light beings that are assisting us during our ascension. It takes attention and awareness to enter 'the zone.' I have recently joined Galaxy Psychic Fairs and have been on tour around Ontario performing Angel readings and healings. I am able to serve in this way because I have learned over many years how to enter the 'zone' using my attention and awareness. I deliver the Angels' messages to my clients while simultaneously teaching them how to rise above their ego-based fears and third- dimensional distractions. I also help them by identifying their guardian angels and the spirit guides around them that will help them if they are having difficulty regarding awareness and attention.  Sometimes it is our expectations that take us out of the zone of attention and awareness. Our expectations can be severely limiting. To find the magic we need to be able to move well beyond our intellectual mind which has been constructed from the thoughts and beliefs of others. If you meditate regularly (which I certainly recommend) then you know that there comes a point during meditation where you come to the threshold of expansion and move beyond it to the place where the intellectual mind is not capable of following. This is the zone of awareness and attention. As our capacity for awareness and attention expands (call in the Angels and ask for support with this) we become increasingly magnetic to our desires. Let's talk about opportunities... A banker never asks for a report card. A good education is more important than ever before, because knowledge is power. But grades? What value are grades? No banker, partner or investor will ever ask; "Can I see your report card? What school did you go to? What was your GPA?" What a banker WILL ask for is your financial statement/credit score. Your financial statement/credit score is your report card for the real world. By looking at your financial statement/credit score, your banker can tell if you have any financial education and if you truly understand money. I am a business owner of a franchise styled business focusing on education. It is centered on an automatic, digital product that carries real value and has national/international appeal. Its territory is worldwide allowing you to build a serious income using a business that is plugged in to a global economy. The financial education is not what you learn in a traditional school setting. You will obtain REAL wealth creation skills that are not dependent on sign ups or others purchasing products. You have an optional unprecedented opportunity to earn 100% commissions and build a LARGE, immediate income that is passive and residual. There really is no limit to how far you can go with this powerful opportunity. Imagine never having to feel trapped by the pressures of time or money again. This program has the power to end the 9-to-5 grind and provide you with real financial freedom. Are You a Victim of Circumstances or a Victim of Your Own Thinking? Your inner world has a tremendous impact on your circumstances. Your beliefs affect your thoughts, emotions, and actions. Your actions ultimately create your life. Interestingly, many of your beliefs are unfounded, and your thoughts and emotions are largely habitual. Changing any of these internal components will affect the results you experience.  Fortunately, your inner world is under your control, though making changes can be challenging. Change your mind and your life will follow: 1.Start and end your day by experiencing gratitude. It’s easy to focus on what you don’t have. Instead, spend a few minutes in the morning and before bed to list your blessings. By focusing on the positive, you’ll brighten your mood and increase the number of good things that come into your life. 2.Focus on solutions. It’s a mistake to spend your time focusing on your problems. It makes you feel terrible and hopeless. It also fails to rectify the challenge you’re facing. When something is going wrong in your life, switch into solution-finding mode. What can you do to make a positive change? You have far more options that you realize. 3.Take care of your body. One of the common causes of depression has been found to be undiagnosed heart disease. When your body is out of sorts, it skews the way you interpret the world. We are guided by our feelings, and when your health is compromised, your emotions can be misleading. 4.Stay grounded in reality. Most of us live in a fantasyland. We’re thinking about the past or speculating on the future. However, if you concentrate on living wisely and well in the present moment, the future will bring the joy you hope for. Remember that life is whizzing by 24/7. The actions you take right now determine your future. You can’t act today if your mind is elsewhere. 5.Use positive affirmations. Give yourself the gift of positive thoughts and uplifting self-talk throughout the day. Negative thoughts lead to negative emotions. Positive thoughts will fill you with positive emotions. With positive thoughts, you can change your world. 6.Examine your beliefs. Make a list of the beliefs that are holding you back and then question them. Where did you get this belief? Why do you believe it’s accurate? Is there a possibility that this belief is false? How much evidence do you really have in support of this belief? 7.Track your thoughts. Set an alarm, perhaps on your smart phone, to notify you each hour. When the alarm sounds, consider how you’ve used your mind over the previous 60 minutes. What did you think about? Was your attention focused on your work, or did you worry about the cable bill? Did you use your mind to better your future? Measuring yourself each hour will help you to stay focused. It’s too easy to fall into old patterns if you only check yourself once per day. 8.Learn to meditate. Meditation has many physical and mental benefits. It can reduce stress, strengthen your health, help to strip away your erroneous beliefs, and bring you clarity and focus. Meditation is one action that can have a huge, positive effect on your life. Incorporate time for meditation into your schedule each day. Most of us believe we’re victims of our circumstances, but we’re actually victims of our own thinking. No matter how bad your situation might be, someone has started with an even worse situation and led an incredible life. Changing your inner world is the key to changing your outer world.

"The present moment is where life can be found, and if you don't arrive there, you miss your appointment with life."   Thich Nhat Hanh The point of attraction is always the present moment. Because it is the only moment. When we are both grounded and energized in the NOW we can keep our appointment with life and manifest our dreams. Blocks in our abundance can be caused by places where our energy isn't flowing, such as in our physical body, emotions or our relationships with other people. Lightworkers going through difficult times often want to escape the harsh energies of earth. Therefore, it is important that we ground ourselves by imagining roots like those of a tree coming from our feet and firmly implanting themselves into the ground. Sit and maintain this visualization for as long as you need in order to feel grounded to the earth. Every morning when you wake up, plant your feet firmly on the ground and visualize your roots going deeply into the earth. This grounds and centers you making you feel more empowered. Smoky quartz is known to be great at helping you during your meditation to ground and center yourself and also aids in the elimination of fears and enhances your dream awareness. Fill yourself with vital energy. Eat energizing foods, read inspiring material, watch enlightening programming and spend lots of time in nature and with animals and doing the things you love. Keeping your energy high is important for manifestation. If our physical, mental and spiritual energies are not functioning at their optimum level, then our manifesting is less likely to work. If our mental energy is low, then we often lack ideas or motivation or perhaps both. If our physical energy is low, then we often lack the ability to put our ideas into practice and to manifest them; therefore, our dreams remain dreams. And, if our spiritual energy is low, we may manifest for selfish reasons in a spirit of aggressive competition - which is unlikely to work. However, if we are energized and in balance - we have a reservoir of fuel in our Dantien (Qi Gong's word for the body's creative energy storehouse) and we are able to manifest with ease. A number of years ago now I took a week-end retreat with the astounding Qi Gong Master, Robert Peng, the founder of Liquid Light Qi Gong. There was a small number of participants so we got great attention. Master Peng taught us that our physical energy is stored in the Dantien but is depleted by excess stress. He showed us that the Dantien is not only the body's energy store but it is also the body's center of gravity. A constantly revolving sphere it sits on top of the sacral chakra and acts as a kind of higher octave of that chakra to refine and stimulate creativity and new ideas. To be empowered and dynamic, this storehouse needs replenishing. This can be done in a number of ways - one of which is the practice of Qi Gong. High energy and staying grounded is part of the manifestation process that I learned from one of my teachers, Doreen Virtue, in California. Doreen also taught us that "trying too hard" is counter-productive. Whether we are manifesting our dreams or communicating with our Angels, we need to let go of the belief that it is "difficult" while also letting go of beliefs in struggle and suffering. We trust, believe, and let go. Easy does it! In order to keep your mental energy high, your mind needs to be active. Active, yet not overactive. Because, if you are too busy to hear your inner guidance, then you are self-sabotaging your manifesting, whether you are conscious of this or not. In order to manifest we must also take care to avoid depression while simultaneously remembering that some form of action, however small(a phone call, email, telepathic communication supporting someone etc.) needs to be taken as and when guided and appropriate. We often waste our mental energy through worry, guilt and other low energies. Hand these to your Angels so they can take them to the Light for purification and transmutation. Substitute prayer and meditation. We can keep our energy high with carnelian. This stone can banish emotional negativity. The ancient Egyptians used it to energize themselves. Also, other people's jealousy can block our progress and so carnelian releases this. A great way to keep your energy high is to sing and dance. The Angels often advise my clients who say they feel sluggish to do this. This keeps our energies high while also opening our psychic senses. No matter what you are manifesting, remember that a dispassionate detachment from the outcome is a gift that you give to yourself. Emotional involvement is definitely necessary for manifestation; however, emotional investment in the outcome is a block. That is one of the reasons why letting go is so important. Remember too, that when you send forth your desires into the universe you add the phrase, "this, or something better manifests for me NOW." The ingenuity of Heaven can devise a plan that is beyond the scope of human imagination! Love & Light,   Monica   www.awakeningspirit.ca

My choices today prepare me for tomorrow's goals. Each day is a chance to make my life worth living. It is a tragedy to waste precious moments. I embrace every opportunity to achieve something great. I choose to actively work towards my goals regardless of the obstacles. Instead of crumbling under boulders of doubt, I choose to climb atop them and be victorious. Time is too precious to cower in fear of the unknown. I set a mission for myself each day. Having the foresight to attack goals in small parts is beneficial to my success. Although there are temptations that sometimes sidetrack me, I quickly resume my focus. I remind myself of what I am aiming at. That reminder easily puts me back on track towards hitting a target. My daily personal and professional goals support my life goals. My focus today is to become someone who knows how to handle success. Achieving this means hitting smaller daily targets successfully. Today, I spare very little time on idle exploits because I am on a road to success. Downtime is beneficial for renewal of purpose but I commit to resuming my journey. My choices today are an indication of what I am setting myself up to achieve tomorrow. Self-Reflection Questions: 1. How do I go about determining which choices are the right ones for me? 2. How do I know when I have swayed from the path to success? 3. What are some of the sacrifices I make while in pursuit of my goals?

I know this title is loaded. I’m actually suggesting that if you read these books, your life will change, which is a pretty bold statement.   But I’m confident they will. Why? Because they changed my life. In case you have no idea who I am, my name is Dave and I’m the owner of this site, which is a free online spiritual social network.   You see I’ve been on a serious spiritual journey for years now and I’ve read an incredible amount of books on the topic, and while I believe that you can take something away from every book, some are so profound and offer such a shocking perspective on life and who we really are, that you can literally finish that book a different person than when you started.   And if you read a combination of all these books, the impact will be even greater because you’re gathering important input from each of them and combining them to come up with your own healthy model of the world.   Bonus: Click Here for a PDF Version of this blog post! Plus new members receive a free copy of our eBook: 9 Truths That Will Turn Your World Upside Down    Anyways, enough of me rambling on, let’s get to the 8 spiritual books that will change your life:   Conversations with God: An Uncommon Dialogue, Book 1     Author: Neale Donald Walsch   Published: 1996   The first book in a series of three, this incredible conversation between Neale and God will provide you with a new perspective on how life really works.   Touching on such subjects as Law of Attraction, who you really are, and your purpose, this book is like the Matrix of books.   Once you take the red pill you can never go back, which in this case is preferable because you begin to understand that the World is much friendlier and you are much more powerful than you ever imagined!    2. Ask and It Is Given   Authors: Esther and Jerry Hicks   Published: 2010   Based on the teachings of Abraham, a collection of non-physical entities explaining how life really works through Esther Hicks, this book will open your eyes to the universal laws governing our world and techniques that you can employ to start creating the life of your dreams.   Regardless, if you believe the basic premise of Abraham or not, the impact of this book really comes down to how much the concepts identified resonate with you.   And based on my experience with Abraham teachings and hundreds of thousands of others, it resonates quite strongly and with an open-mind will shift your view of the world.   Though there are several incredible books written by Esther and Jerry, I believe this one will have the greatest impact.    3. The Power of Intention   Author: Dr. Wayne Dyer   Published: 2005   I knew I was reading something magnificent when early on in the book, I read the following quote:   “A tiny acorn with no apparent power to think or make plans for its future contains intention from the invisible field. If you cut the acorn open, you won’t see a giant oak tree, but you know it’s there.”   - The Power of Intention   The late Wayne Dyer published, more than 40 books (21 of them bestsellers) and this one, in my opinion is the best one.   It also departures from Wayne’s earlier works because he focuses on co-creating the life of your dreams by working with the energies of intention and the universe, as opposed to working hard on your own to succeed.   This book has so many insights, you’ll want to read it twice and then probably want to read his other books. That’s what happened to me.   This book is also full of practical advice, helping you understand what the faces of intentions look like, obstacles to connecting with these energies and how to apply it in certain situations in your life.   Definitely worth a read!   Bonus: Click Here for a PDF Version of this blog post! Plus new members receive a free copy of our eBook: 9 Truths That Will Turn Your World Upside Down     4. The Power of Now   Author: Eckhart Tolle   Published: 1999   Without actually using the term, Eckhart identifies the power of mindfulness like no one else.   This book is both esoteric and practical at the same time and when you actually take the time to understand what he’s saying you begin to sense the importance of this very theoretically simple concept.   In the book Tolle draws on both the teachings of Jesus and Buddha, but not at all from a religious perspective. He takes their words and interprets them from a spiritual perspective.   While it can be complex at times, paying attention to the implications of living in the moment will help you take a look at yourself and understand where you may be tripping yourself up in terms of living the life of your dreams.   This is definitely an incredible book that I believe will stand the test of time.    5. Life on Earth: Understanding Who We Are, How We Got Here, and What May Lie Ahead   Author: Mike Dooley   Published: 2016   Relatively new and not as well-known as the other books on this list, this one is similar to Conversations with God but almost seems to be written as a complementary guide to Conversations.   This book is really a collection of questions and answers gathered throughout Mike’s life.   The strange part is it was him doing both the asking and answering.   Kind of in the spirit of Abraham Hicks, Mike seems to have tapped into his higher self for the answers and in the same spirit of Abraham, it’s not a question whether you believe it or not, but rather how well the answers resonate with you.   And let me tell you, they resonated with me. He also touches on subjects such as Law of Attraction, but also focuses on concepts such as suffering and “accidents” and also provides a bunch of practical techniques you can use to create your ideal life.   Definitely a new book that I believe will gain popularity as time goes on.   6. The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself   Author: Michael Singer   Published 2007   This book blew me away! Plain and simple.   Written by Michael Singer, a man who has lived an extraordinary life, his ability to help you discover who-you-really-are and how to connect with that power within is amazing. And with such simplicity.   He also takes complicated subjects and breaks them down into simple, easy to understand concepts that anyone can apply.   The funny thing is I thought I had a strong grasp of spiritual concepts before I touched this book and then realized that I didn’t and that this book elevated my spiritual experience to deeper level.   If there is one book on this list, that will have a large impact, quickly, this is it.   7. Letting Go: The Pathway of Surrender     Author: David R. Hawkins   Published: 2013   Closer to the beginning of my spiritual journey, I glossed over the concept of letting go/surrendering/releasing, probably because I had to deal with a whole bunch of other issues first, but as my journey continued, I began to see the importance of letting go.   What’s more interesting is that books I previously mentioned discussed the concept but it never resonated with me.   You can’t miss the concept of letting go with this book, because that’s the whole point of this book. Moreover, through this book you begin to understand the importance and power of letting something go.   It is in fact so powerful, that this mere act alone can change your life.   And while on the surface it may seem like a simple thing to do, be warned that the mere act of letting go will bring up a whole host of uncomfortable issues, but trust me when I say you’ll be a different person on the other side.   8. The Brain That Changes Itself   Author: Norman Doidge Published: 2007   Okay, so I have to confess something. This isn’t a spiritual book. In fact it’s based on science, but I believe the concept behind it is so important and will have such reaching implications on how you view life, I couldn’t leave it out.   If you’re wondering what it’s about, the title says it all.   Science recently confirmed that our brains are malleable. Termed neuroplasticity, our brains can literally re-wire itself with some practice, no matter how old you are.   And the implications are extremely exciting, because it confirms that you’re never too old to change, your mind or your life. So step away from the spiritual books for a little and read this one. You won’t be sorry.   So there you have it. 8 books that will change your life.   Of course there are others. Hundreds of others that will impact your life and I’m quite sure that as I continue down my journey more will be added to me list, but in the meantime, these 8 books will significantly move you down your path.     Bonus: Click Here for a PDF Version of this blog post! You’re familiar with your conscious mind. You use it to choose a channel on the TV or to decide what you’re going to have for dinner. But there’s another aspect to your mind, the subconscious. Your subconscious is most active during sleep and when you’re mildly distracted. Consider how many brilliant ideas you’ve had while showering, driving, mowing the grass, or taking a walk. When you’re alone and relaxed, but mildly occupied, your subconscious can shine. Your conscious mind is occupied enough for your subconscious to speak to you. During most of the day, your conscious mind is making too much noise. Your subconscious is active day and night. Few people take advantage of this powerful resource. Imagine having such a powerful ally working for you 24/7. You’d be unstoppable. Your subconscious is a bit like a savant. It’s brilliant in some ways, but not too bright in others. Think of it as a computer with a vast store of information. It wants to help you, but it needs simple instructions. So how can you take advantage of this powerful resource? Use this process to put your subconscious to work for you: 1. Make a request of your subconscious mind. While lying in bed at night, tell your subconscious what you want. Write it down. There’s something more concrete when you take pen to paper. It also engages your brain at a higher level. For example: “I want to find three creative, effective, and inexpensive ways to market my business.” Read the request aloud five times. 1. Write your request five times and then turn off the light. 2. Imagine yourself being successful. In our example, how will you feel when you find and implement these three creative ideas? How will your life and finances change? 3. Repeat steps one and two in the morning. It will only take three minutes. You can do it. Of course, you won’t be turning off the light when you’re finished. It’s time to start your day! 4. Pay attention. You’ll find your subconscious feeding you solutions over the next few days. It’s important to pay attention to them. Write them down. Thank your subconscious for the information. 5. Act on the information. This is the biggest sticking point for most people. We love to gather information, but fail to act. Use the ideas that are presented by your subconscious. If you fail to act on them, you’ll eventually stop receiving them. No one likes to be ignored, including your subconscious! Even the smallest action can have a big impact. Avoid being like everyone else that ignores their great ideas. 6. Be patient. While your subconscious can present you with advice very quickly, implementing habit changes can take weeks. For example, if you want your subconscious to assist you in changing your diet and exercise habits, you might not see any progress for a few weeks. Be patient. The subconscious is a powerful tool that few use to their advantage. It’s been suggested that your subconscious can consider billions of possibilities during a night of sleep. The information your subconscious provides is very high quality. It’s the best your brain has to offer from billions of options. Why aren’t you using it? Start small so you can experience a few easy successes. The confidence you’ll gain will be beneficial when making requests that require more time to fulfill. Your subconscious is always busy, so ensure it’s busy working on the things you desire!

A lot of people have heard about the Law of Attraction, mostly through the movie The Secret, but few truly understand it. I’m writing this post to help you understand law of attraction. In its simplest form, thoughts become things. This is a universal law (like gravity), meaning that it applies to everyone. Your dominant thoughts about any particular subject has to become reality. There is no external or outside force that can change or influence this law. Though an external force can influence your thoughts, if you allow it. Your thoughts impact how you feel and how you feel is literally a reflection of your vibrations. Scientifically speaking, nothing is solid in our world. Break anything down into its smallest components and you’ll see energy moving at various frequencies. That’s what’s meant by vibration. You attract people and things in your life based on your vibrations, or in other words, based on how you feel. And each feeling vibrates at a different frequency. So if you’re angry, you’ll attract more things to be angry about. If you’re happy, you’ll attract more things to be happy about and so on. If you’re having a hard time believing this, think back on your life (or someone else’s) and you’ll quickly see it to be true. Now the biggest criticism of The Secret (warranted or not) is that it only focused on the thought aspect of the law of attraction and not the action part. Criticisms aside, action is necessary when it comes to law of attraction. But not all actions taken are equal. Trying to do something in a frustrated state is not the same as trying to do something in a calm positive state. And that’s the point. How you feel plays a huge role in the actions you take. And how you feel is a direct result of what you think. When you think loving thoughts, or thoughts of gratitude, or abundant thoughts, the same feelings and actions follow, leading to an outcome commensurate with those thoughts. Further, you perceive the world through those lenses (including other people), resulting in a process of actions and reactions.   Of course, there is no fooling the Law of Attraction (just like there’s no fooling the law of gravity). You cannot pretend to feel good when you really don’t. Your vibrations don’t ever lie. So there you have it. Of course, law of attraction can (and does) go into much more detail, including how to use it in your favor, but that will be saved for future posts. If you feel you have anything to add, or have any questions, please leave a comment and extend the conversation beyond this post.

8 Mistakes Successful People Don't Make – or Don’t Repeat Do you keep making the same mistakes? If you do, you might find that you make little progress in your life. There is a huge opportunity to learn from your mistakes. Those that successfully learn from their mistakes wind up being highly successful. Those that repeat them struggle. Imagine how your life would be different if you never made the same mistake twice.Learn from your mistakes and vow to never repeat them:1.Successful people avoid making excuses. Excuses are preparations for failure. An excuse is a justification to fail or quit. No one will resolve your challenges for you. Take responsibility and do the best you can.2.Fail to have an objective. Life without goals is a random experience. Unfortunately, without a direction, your life will tend to get worse rather than better. Have a goal or expect to be disappointed. What are your goals right now? Do you have them written down? What do you think you’ll accomplish over the next six months if you don’t have any goals?Create 3-5 goals that you can accomplish over the next six months.3.Fail to have a plan. If you have a goal, you must have a plan for achieving it. One isn’t much good without the other. Avoid hoping and wishing your goals will come true on their own. Take the bull by the horns.4.Successful people don’t repeat their mistakes. Most of us make the same mistakes repeatedly. Whether it’s making a poor choice in a mate, overspending, or trying to gain new customers through ineffective means, people are creatures of habit. Make habits of your effective behaviors, rather than your ineffective behaviors.5.Expect others to change. Is it easy to change your own attitudes, beliefs, or behaviors? And you want to change! Consider how hard it would be to change someone else. And they don’t want to change! You can’t change others.6.Choosing comfort over progress. Perhaps the largest mistake of those who struggle in life is the tendency to place short-term comfort over long-term advantages. This is a very ineffective way to deal with life. This is the friend that asks to sleep on your couch for a few days and is still there after three months.7.Not playing to their strengths. The most successful people take full advantage of their strengths at every opportunity. While it’s admirable to work on your weaknesses, most successful people choose to avoid them. You can’t be good at everything. Use your talents and strengths as much as possible.8.Ignoring the little things. It’s the little things that will derail your efforts. It’s easy to ignore the seemingly mundane details, but those details can make all the difference in the end.Make use of your mistakes. Learn from them and decide to avoid them in the future. Life is easy if you don’t repeat your errors. What are the major mistakes you’ve made repeatedly? Why do you think you repeat them? Do you lack awareness of your mistakes?Examine the challenges in your life and ask yourself why they occurred. What could you have done differently to avoid those challenges? It’s worthwhile to spend some time each week reviewing the past week. Determine your mistakes and ensure that you don’t repeat them. Watch how quickly your life changes!
